Cassandra is a well rounded performer with a range of experience in both stage and screen.
Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Cassandra trained at The Western Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Since relocating to London she has been busy working as a Singer and Actress in a varied and exciting career.
Filming will soon be starting for a US produced short film 'The Salisbury Hare', where Cassandra is playing the lead role. Most recently Cassandra flew to Bahrain to perform as Baroness Elberfeld/Cover Sister Berthe/Ensemble in 'The Sound of Music' for Popular Productions. Prior to that she performed the roles of both Phoebe and Janice in the world premier of 'Friends The Opera' for Comedy Central. In September and October 2011 you could see Cassandra performing in a production of 'Recipe For A Perfect Wife' at The Charing Cross Theatre. Earlier in the year she sang the role of Sue and Arabella in a concert performance at Keats House of the new musical 'Jude', along with a song cycle set to Keats's poetry composed by Nicola Jane Buttigieg. She also had the privilege to work alongside some of the West Ends top talent in a showcase entitled 'Beethoven to Beowulf' at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
In September 2010 she co-produced and co-wrote a show at The Leicester Square Theatre called 'Tall, Grade, Venti! A Comic Cabaret About Coffee Culture'. The sell out production was hugely successful and will hopefully be running for a longer period again in at a later date.
A versatile performer, since moving to London other accomplishments include a performance at The Royal Festival Hall, a Bollywood feature film, appearing as a lead vocalist in a UK Music Hall tour and performances in several cabarets.
Other memorable roles include Nancy in 'Oliver!', Gwendolyn in 'The Importance of Being Earnest', Bombalarina in 'Cats', Helena in 'A Midsummer Nights Dream', Bianca in 'The Taming of the Shrew' and Cathy in 'Whistle Down the Wind'. Other musicals include 'Les Miserables', 'My Fair Lady' and 'Aspects of Love'. She has appeared in several short films and is an experienced cabaret artist, regularly performing with the 'Smashed Up Soiree' and in her Corporate Act with fellow performer Luke Barron, '2LEGiT'.
